Africa
Africa contains many of the world’s best. Who doesn’t love visiting the biggest and best things the planet has to offer?
Africa is home to the largest desert on Earth, the Sahara Desert, the longest river in the world, the River Nile, and the tallest free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.
While there are some countries in Africa that are currently not safe to visit, there are plenty that are perfectly safe to travel to. Some of the safest include Botswana, Rwanda, Morocco and Namibia.
In fact the Institute for Economics & Peace ranks Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Madagascar, Ghana (to name just a few) as safer than the United States!
Just remember that Africa is a big place with 54 different countries so if you hear that one country is unsafe it doesn’t mean they all are.
Hawaii
Hawaii has arguably the most beautiful and inviting warm water beaches that you can find anywhere in America. Such locations include: Lanikai Beach and Haunama Bay on Oahu, Polihale Beach on Kauai, Black Sand Beach at Waianapanapa State Park on Maui as well as Hapuna Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. Many will agree that there are no beautiful beach areas like these on the US mainland.
Those that visit Hawaii will discover, it is the home of one of the most important sites in American history. It is also the most visited attraction in the Aloha State, the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor on the island of Oahu. The memorial is a part of the multi-state World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument. It honors the sacrifices of those who fought in America’s first involvement in World War II including the over 1,100 sailor and marines who are still entombed within the sunken remains of the battleship USS Arizona.
Alaska
WHY ALASKA?
Of all the extraordinary places to see in the world, why visit Alaska? Here's why.
-
It's Big. In Alaska, your sense of scale expands. It's not just the state's sheer size (twice that of Texas), but that words like highest, largest, deepest, and longest often describe its natural wonders. That we're home to North America's tallest mountain, the astounding Denali, is just the start.
-
It's Wild. With a population density of just one person per square mile, the vast majority of Alaska's 420 million acres is untouched wilderness. Think crisp air, clear waters, and thriving ecosystems with abundant wildlife.
-
Traveling is Easy. Getting to Alaska is straightforward, with direct flights offered from many airline hubs in the Lower 48. You can also travel here comfortably by cruise. Unless you're going through Canada or another international country, you don't need a passport. We use U.S. currency, drive on the right side of the road, and it's safe to drink the tap water.
